Utah Downspouts
The purpose of a downspout is to carry rainwater from your rain gutter to ground level and direct it away from the base of your house in order to prevent flooding and water erosion. We provide a variety of different types of downspouts in pre-painted aluminum, galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, or copper, including custom box downspouts and collectors boxes.
All downspouts are riveted with .44 aluminum rivets which give a cleaner look, prevent rust, and allow debris to flow freely through the downspout. The outlet from the gutter to the downspout is drilled with a 2-3/8″ whole saw which helps prevent clogs. The outlet is punched in the top; never drilled through the bottom or chiseled. 2″X3″ DOWNSPOUTS
2″ X 3″ downspouts are the most common. They are found on most homes and provide plenty of drainage for a standard 5″ gutter. Downspouts are riveted with .44 aluminum rivets which give a cleaner look, prevent rust, and allow debris to flow freely through the downspout. 3″X4″ DOWNSPOUTS
3″ X 4″ downspouts are usually installed with larger gutter. They hold much more water allowing more water to drain from the roof. This bigger downspout will drain 1 1/2 times more water than the smaller downspouts. The 3″ X 4″ can drain over 7 gallons of water per second. They are larger so they don’t clog as easily. Available in pre-painted aluminum, galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, or copper.
3″ and 4″ SMOOTH ROUND and CORRUGATED DOWNSPOUTS
Smooth round and corrugated downspouts add a very unique look to any project. They are either 3″ or 4″ round depending on the size and look that you want. They’re most commonly installed on Half-Round rain gutters but can also be customized with any other type of rain gutter to meet your specific wants and needs. Available in pre-painted aluminum, galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, or copper.
CUSTOM BOX DOWNSPOUTS
Box downspouts are usually square and are custom fabricated to fit each project. They range in size and shape and are available in pre-painted aluminum, galvanized steel, pre-painted steel, or copper. They are usually installed with box gutter, but can be installed on any gutter depending on the look you want.
COLLECTOR BOXES
Collector boxes give an extra detail to your project and are aesthetically pleasing. They can be used for purely decorative purposes or to manage heavy volumes of water. Either way we offer many sizes and styles to meet any request you may have.
